The Chairperson of the Board of Commissioners (BoC), Mr.
Sarbast Rasheed has sought on 2 July with the Special Representative
of the Secretary General (SRSG), Mr. Nikolai
Miladinov means
of strengthening the capacity
of the IHEC staff.
The meeting took place in the National Office in
Baghdad.
The two sides
discussed the IHEC's
finalization of the electoral merits represented in the
Iraqi parliamentary elections and the
provincial council elections of the Kurdistan
Region of Iraq which both were taken place on 30
April.
Mr. Rasheed stressed on the importance to continue the
joint cooperation between the IHEC and UN to enhance the technical &
human resources capacities of the IHEC's staff.
