The delegation of the Board of Commissioners (BoC) composed of the Chairperson of the BoC, Mr. Sarbast Rasheed and the BoC Member and the spokesperson of the IHEC, Mr. Safa al Moussawi participated in the conference of the Provincial Cooperation for the electoral offices bodies in the Arabic World under the auspices of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The conference aimed to coordinate the efforts and discuss the procedures of cooperation among the electoral offices in the Arab world. The conference resulted on forming a coordinating a committee of the participating countries to sustain communication between the electoral bodies, as well as to develop the work in the future. The IHEC continuously participated in international meetings, which reflected its great experience through running many of the elections in Iraq and the latest elections in 2014.
